I thought it had only been a month since I created a post, but after looking back, I realize it had been since July. I have so many that have been started and then dropped mid-project because of all the new adjustments we’ve been facing, so writing unfortunately had to go to the back burner. Transitioning has been a struggle, but I think we are finally coming to the point of normal.
Since moving to Montana, we have been running around with barely enough time to catch our breath. From figuring out how to maneuver our way through town to having to figure out our new routines, life has been hectic to say the least. As each day goes by, however, it feels more and more like home. It’s hard to believe that we are approaching our four month mark since our big move.
I started my job the same week of coming out here and there has been a lot of relearning and getting acclimated to the new store. I had only been at my job for three months when we moved so going from one manager to another has been different. In a lot of ways I felt I had to start over with everything that I learned. That in and of itself has been a lot to take in. Every day brings new improvements and progress.
Sam, however, had been looking for a job like it is his job. He was busy applying, interviewing, and waiting. Waiting was the hardest part. He was offered a lot of positions but he finally heard back about the one he wanted the most. I am so proud of him and God’s blessing over this new chapter. He is coming to the end of his training at work and things will change dramatically. That means there will more adjustments to be made as he will be working a lot of hours.
It’s amazing the things God has been doing for us here. He has been blessing this chapter of our lives and we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Him. I’m looking forward to the next four months to see where He will take us.
